Dowie To Make Oldham Return?

Dowie To Make Oldham Return?

Oldham owner Simon Corney has confirmed, with it reported in The Manchester Evening News, that Iain Dowie could make a return to Oldham as the clubs new boss.

A few names have been mentioned in connection with the Vacancy at Boundary Park following Paul Dickov's decision to quit, with Dowie among them.

Dowie left Oldham for Palace almost a decade ago amid financial problems with the club but Corney has admitted that, even though there is no "number one choice", he is the "only person" he has contacted about the job so could return.

A stumbling block, even though a return to The Latics is believed to appeal to Dowie, could be his wages?
