'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Boss On Glenn Debut Start

18 year old Glenn Belezika was handed his starting debut last night and Lee Johnson has said he was pleased for him.

Speaking to the Official Site following the game, Johnson was pleased to see Belezika help the team to a clean sheet especially as his only previous appearance was a sub last season.

'Glenn has only had four weeks to get into my mindset, but deserves his chance because he asks me a million questions every day. I gave him a DVD about positioning and he hasn't given it me back because he watches it twice a day. I am so pleased for him as well as for the other lads who took him on like a younger brother and looked after him, not that he needed looking after.'

Certainly done himself no harm moving forward, nobody can sniff at a clean sheet on their starting debut if they are in defence.
