England Move Fulfils Schmeltz Dream

New midfielder Sidney Schmeltz has said that moving to Oldham will fulfil his dream of wanting to play in England.

Speaking to the Official Site the 24 year old Dutchman said he was interested in the move as soon as he heard about it.

'It came as a surprise because I was in negotiations with Slovakian club Trencin when I heard of interest from Oldham. I heard of Oldham's interest, and I made up my mind. I wanted to come here and make it work. I was impressed by the manager's vision for the club and, for me, it's a dream transfer.'

The midfielder is two footed and can play anywhere across the midfield.
