'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tarkowski Signs His Two Year Deal

Centre half James Tarkowski has signed has now officially signed the two year deal he agreed with Oldham earlier in the month.

The 20 year old has put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2015 and now it's all signed he's looking forward to kicking on in his career under Lee Johnson.

Speaking to the Official Site he said.

'I'm happy with the progress I have made, but I have reached the stage where playing 25 games a season is not enough. I need to be playing well and consistently every week and to play 40/50 games a season.'

Tarkowski is clearly ambitious for his age!

'Over the next two years I'm looking to play 70, maybe even a 100 games and also to stay injury free.'

Can't fault the desire of the young defender can you, if performances fit he could well do it as well.
