Macclesfield took an early lead on 34 minutes and went into the half time break behind. However four goals in the second half gave Lee Johnson the result and performance he was looking for.

Christian Montano scored a brace, Adam Rooney found the net from the penalty spot and an own goal gave us the four.

Oxley, Brown, Tarkowski (Belezika 79), Mellor (Byrne 77), Grounds, Dayton (Schmeltz 45), Wesolowski (Rodgers 45), Smith, Montano, Rooney (McDonald 68), Clarke-Harris (Baxter 60).

Subs:

Millar, Joksts, Simpson, Cooper, Gosset, Truelove.
