Johnson Delighted With Final Test

A number of things today pleased Lee Johnson ahead of the league kick off next week, as we beat Huddersfield 3-2.

Speaking to the Official Site following the game, Johnson firstly talked about Cristian Montano's current streak of form.

'Cristian has come back flying. He returned fit which was a big thing because I don't think he had a pre season last year. And he has also brought into what we are doing here. I think the beauty of this squad is that we are all in it together and trust each other.'

Johnson says we have one powerful weapon next season that he doesn't feel Oldham have had for a while - options.

'We can also change the game from the bench, something Oldham haven't been able to do as much in previous years. The options I have up front are almost embarrassing because I like them all and want to play them all. It's a shame I cannot and maybe I can find a new formation when we can play all five.'
