Brown A Relieved Man
Connor Brown has admitted he breathed a sigh of relief when he woke up from the operating table to find out his knee injury was nowhere near as bad as first feared.
The right back was booked into hospital for surgery because everybody was worried that he had sustained damage to his cruciate ligament which could've ruled him out for between six to nine months, but thankfully it was only the cartilage in his knee that had been damaged.
Instead of six to nine months, the player will be now be out for between six to eight weeks which is obviously a far better situation for him.
Especially as his mind no doubt would've gone back to when he suffered a cruciate ligament injury earlier in his career that saw him out of football for eight months.
