Mimms Goes International

Goalkeeping coach Bobby Mimms has left Oldham Athletic to take up a national team position with Bahrain.

Mimms joined us in the summer and he has left the club with immediate affect so he can begin work in his new role as soon as possible.

Therefore manager Lee Johnson will now begin the search for a new goalkeeping taskmaster.

Speaking to the Official Site as news was announced of his departure, Johnson said.

'Bobby is a fantastic man and coach. He will be missed but we wish him all the best in his new role as Bahrain national goalkeeper coach. We thank him for his contribution throughout the season.'
