Doyle In Team Of The Week (23/11/17)
Oldham Athletic are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.
The performance by Eoin Doyle in the three one victory over Rochdale at the weekend at Boundary Park was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.
I think we'll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Doyle was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice - the FL blurb read.
'Doyle impressed up front against for Oldham, who returned to winning ways with a 3-1 triumph against local foes Rochdale. The Irish striker helped himself to two goals in the victory, including a sweet volley which was named Sky Bet League One Goal of the Weekend.'
It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Doyle for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.
