Chris Taylor and Dale Stephens were the men on the mark, scoring the goals that lifted the Latics back into the top ten.

The home side started well an were soon a goal in front when Taylor got on the end of a deep cross, turned, and curled the ball home from 14 yards.

Ben Amos was called into action to make a fairly simple save from Swindon`s Charlie Austin while Sean Morrison headed another chance wide of the target.

Taylor was after getting on the score sheet again early in the second half but his shot was deflected wide.

Then Phil Smith in the Robin`s goal denied Cedric Evina after he had made a run of a good thirty yards that deserved better.
