Notts County 0-0 Oldham
We continued our run but again struggled to threaten a breakthrough.
Oldham, most certainly, would have been the happier of the sides with a 0-0 draw at Meadow Lane against Notts County.
Both sides are on a good run, so it wasn't overly surprising that there wasn't much between the sides in the first half. Little clear-cut chances came in that half.
Conor Wilkinson had the best of our second half chances, putting one effort wide before former Manchester United 'keeper Roy Carroll kept out another of his efforts.
Notts County's Zeli Ismail went on a good run but couldn't hit the target with his effort at the end.
The last word came from Wilkinson but Carroll again denied him in injury-time as it ended nil-nil.
After the game assistant boss Tommy Wright told BBC Radio Manchester: 'It was frustrating. We dominated the game for long periods without ever really having a lot of chances.
'If you look at the run we've had, our problem has been scoring goals.
'James Wilson is becoming a very good player. He's becoming wiser and older and more experienced, and George Elokobi has been the model professional. He's a top player.'
