Oldham 3-2 Scunthorpe Utd
Oldham's unbeaten run was extended to seven games as we came from behind, more than once, to eventually secure a weekend win.
A five-goal thriller was finally decided by a late winner as Oldham came from one-down and two-one down to eventually win 3-2 at Boundary Park against Scunthorpe United on Saturday.
Scunthorpe took the when Andrew Boyce (26) headed home but we were soon level through our topscorer Jonathan Forte (29) when he continued his impressive life to his Latics career.
The visitors were swiftly ahead again as a third goal in eight-minutes saw Rory Fallon's (34) debut for Scunthorpe marked with a goal to send the visitors into the break two-one up.
Lee Johnson called for Danny Philliskirk's, with his first goals of the season changing the game, swinging it in our favour after he came off the bench.
His first (66) at the midway point of the second half drew us level at two-two before he produced a winner (83) as time ticked away to move us up to 10th place in the league 1 table.
Following the game Johnson told BBC Radio Manchester: 'I was really pleased with how patient we stayed.
'The frustration was there and it was really important that we stayed patient.
'In the first half I was very disappointed with the two goals for organisational reasons.
'In League One when you go behind, it's very difficult to get back and today they've done that and I'm very proud of them.'
