Dickov Looks To Positives

Oldham manager Paul Dickov saw his side come away with a disappointing point from the game with Tranmere and remained looking at the positives.

Although they wasn`t easy to find, the 0-0 draw was Oldham`s 12th game without a win and God only knows where a goal is going to come from.

Dickov told the Press Association:>'I suppose I have to be happy as we have stopped the rot after a few defeats and we've kept a clean sheet. 'But I'm also really disappointed because we created lots of chances and the ball just won't go into the net for us at the moment.

'We are doing the right things and have not become a bad team overnight, but we are suffering from a lack of confidence in front of goal".

But the Latic`s boss was impressed with the amount of chances his side created, pointing out that it can only be a matter of time before those chances start turning into goals.

He added: 'If we keep creating chances sooner or later it will go for us and I have confidence that a win will come eventually.

'We were the better team in both halves and we caused Tranmere all sorts of problems when we got the ball out wide. At the start we were uptight but we played well once we relaxed - we just have to keep believing.'
